What is this?
NHS primary care runs on a dense layer of technical specifications — QOF business rules,
NICE guidelines, contract frameworks, coding standards, risk algorithms. These documents
are accurate but rarely written with the clinician in mind.
The Knowledge Hub translates that material into structured, readable references.
Each section takes a specific piece of NHS documentation and presents it in a form
that is easier to read, navigate, and apply — without stripping out the clinical
or contractual detail that matters.
Not a policy source. Content is derived from published NHS specifications
and presented for reference and education. Always confirm against the current national
documentation for contractual or prescribing decisions.
What's covered
The hub is being built out incrementally. Current and planned content spans
three broad areas:
NHS frameworks & contracts
Structured walkthroughs of QOF, PCN DES, enhanced services, and similar
contract frameworks — how populations are defined, what triggers achievement,
and how the numbers connect.
Clinical guidelines & pathways
Key NICE guidelines and clinical pathways presented as decision logic rather
than prose — thresholds, eligibility criteria, treatment steps, and the
clinical reasoning behind them.
Clinical calculators & risk tools
Interactive implementations of validated scoring tools used in primary care —
QRISK®3, CHA₂DS₂-VASc, and others — alongside plain-English explanations
of what each score means and how to act on it.
